My last complete renovation was 25 years ago. It took almost two years and cost me a lot of time and nerves. Afterwards I felt like I had 1 kg of metal in my mouth (a lot of crowns). This time everything had to be better and the first thing I did was look for the best dentist in Konstanz. I tried many and I wasn't satisfied. It just wasn't right until I finally found a practice that fully met my expectations - Dr. Horn & colleagues. It was clear to me from the start that my new complete renovation would take a lot of time, but I still wanted to get everything over with as quickly as possible. The combination between fast and perfect is always dangerous and hard to find. However, I was lucky to have all of this and more with Dr. to get horn. Here is my personal experience with Dr. Horn. 1. Absolutely competent and professional advice right from the start. Very personal, detailed, everything was explained very well and the desired result was discussed and planned together several times. The practice is very well located, with plenty of parking options (Edeka, Mediamarkt or in front of the practice), which is very important for Konstanz, as you are always looking for a free parking space at the other dentists. 2. State-of-the-art equipment and technology. No plaster/rubber casts are made like before, but rather 3D scanning. The crowns fit 100% perfectly. Everything can be seen immediately on the screen and is shown and explained directly. Top! 3. Cutting-edge technology. Plasma is made from your own blood on site and applied to the wound. This means that wound healing only takes 2-3 days instead of several weeks. Is highly recommended. 4. My wish was as few treatments as possible. That's why I decided on the complete renovation under general anesthesia. Everything was done super professionally. I was under constant observation by an anesthesiologist. In 5 hours, many teeth were extracted, a cyst was excised, bone material was obtained and inserted, and 8 implants were placed. Thanks to my own plasma, healing was quick and without complications. The temporary restoration that was immediately inserted looked great and held up very well, so no one noticed anything. 5. A further 3 treatments each lasted approx. 2-3 hours using nitrous oxide. I can highly recommend this! It's totally relaxing and you don't sit like you're under electricity during the treatment, but rather endure everything in a relaxed manner. I listened to music with my noise-canceling headphones during the treatment and didn't feel anything. Great thing! 6. The entire duration: the operation was carried out on February 3rd, the first final implants and crowns were placed in the lower jaw at the beginning of June and in the upper jaw at the end of August. So the compet renovation only took 7 months and fully met my wishes. Now my metal crowns are finally gone and I only have extremely stable ceramic in my mouth. Finally, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the result. The personal advice from Dr. I really appreciated Horn. A special thank you also goes to his professional team. I always felt very well looked after in the practice. It's unbelievable, but now I really enjoy going to the dentist because it's Dr. Horn and colleagues is. I can only recommend it to everyone. I traveled from Leipzig to Konstanz for treatment on a recommendation and haven't regretted it for a second. The advice beforehand was comprehensive and convinced me. The treatment - complete renovation of the upper and 2 teeth below took place in a single appointment. The operation was done in the morning and I left in the evening with a great looking and functional temporary restoration. By using my own bone, there were no problems during the healing phase. Even during the 3-month interim period, the practice was always there to answer my questions. The implants fit perfectly and firmly. My beautiful new third ceramic teeth have been in my mouth for 2 weeks now. I can only recommend the Horn practice to anyone who is thinking about having implants done.
